About Us

Rohingya National League (RNL) is a rights-based organization committed to empowering the Rohingya community and advocating for their dignity, justice, and equality. Guided by a vision of a world where the Rohingya live free from persecution and with full access to their human rights, RNL works to amplify Rohingya voices and build sustainable pathways to a dignified future. Our mission centers on documenting human rights violations, delivering life-saving humanitarian aid, and expanding educational opportunities for Rohingya children, youth, and adults.

Through three core programs—Human Rights Advocacy & Documentation, Humanitarian Aid, and Research & Educational Development—RNL advances legal accountability, supports Rohingya-led advocacy, and builds capacity within the community. Upholding values of human dignity, justice, empowerment, collaboration, transparency, and inclusivity, RNL works in solidarity with national and international partners to ensure protection, recognition, and lasting solutions for the Rohingya people.

Governance Structure

The governance of RNL is designed to ensure participatory decision-making, accountability, and strong community representation. The key governance bodies include:

  1. Advocate for Rohingya Rights and Justice: To systematically document human rights abuses, raise global awareness, and support legal actions through international courts and institutions to ensure justice and accountability for the Rohingya community.
  2. Provide Comprehensive Humanitarian Aid: To deliver life-saving emergency relief, including food, shelter, hygiene, and medical support, with a focus on vulnerable groups such as children, women, and the elderly in both refugee and conflict-affected areas.
  3. Promote Safe and Inclusive Education: To create and support educational programs for Rohingya children, youth, and adults by developing culturally relevant curricula, building community-based learning spaces, and expanding access to digital and higher education opportunities.
  4. Empower Rohingya Voices and Leadership: To build the capacity of Rohingya youth, women, and community leaders to lead advocacy, documentation, education, and development initiatives that reflect community needs and aspirations.
  5. Conduct Research to Inform Policy and Practice: To undertake evidence-based research on education, protection, and human rights issues affecting the Rohingya, using the findings to inform effective interventions, policy advocacy, and global solidarity campaigns.
  6. Foster Durable and Dignified Solutions: To advocate for rights-based repatriation, local integration, and third-country resettlement, while promoting long-term stability through livelihood support, legal recognition, and access to essential services.

Born from the collective struggles and hopes of our community, RNL exists to amplify our voices, document our truth, and forge sustainable solutions to one of the most prolonged human rights crises of our time.

At RNL, we believe that every Rohingya deserves to live free from persecution, with access to basic rights, education, and opportunity.
